How to Select a Filter Bag
A bag filter housing equipped with a filter bag is referred to as a bag filter. Compared to other filter elements, bag filters can handle larger liquid volumes, are more user-friendly, and have lower operating costs, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.

Filter Bag Materials and Specifications
Filter bags differ in terms of material, size, and filtration precision. Below is an overview of common materials used for filter bags:

PE (Polyester): Commonly referred to as polyester fiber, PE performs exceptionally well at room temperature. The filtration precision ranges from 1μm to 300μm.

PP (Polypropylene): Known for its excellent abrasion resistance and high elasticity. The filtration precision ranges from 0.1μm to 500μm.

Nylon (NMO): Offers the best abrasion resistance, along with good chemical resistance, water resistance, and elasticity. However, after extended use, its elasticity and tension may decrease, leading to potential changes in pore size. Thus, it may not be suitable for applications requiring very high filtration precision.

PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): This material excels in thermal stability, chemical stability, insulation, and water resistance. Due to its superior performance, it is relatively more expensive. PTFE can withstand continuous operation under high temperatures of up to 260°C and also provides excellent water-repellent properties.
