How to Clean a Bag Filter
If the bag filter continues to filter the same liquid, cleaning is unnecessary. However, if filtering a different type of liquid, the filter must be cleaned before use.
Maintenance and Replacement of O-Rings
-
Maintenance:
When in use, the O-ring should be properly aligned and placed into the O-ring groove to avoid deformation due to improper compression. If not in use, the O-ring must be removed and wiped clean to prevent residual liquid from solidifying on its surface, which could lead to hardening and reduced sealing performance. -
Replacement:
If the O-ring has aged or been damaged, it should be replaced promptly. Ensure that the replacement O-ring is of the same model as the original.
Important Notes
- Under normal use, the filter and support basket come with a one-year warranty. Damage caused by improper use is not covered under warranty.
- The design pressure for standard bag filters is 1.6 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
- For side-entry bag filters, the design pressure is 1.2 MPa, and the recommended maximum working pressure is 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
- For jacketed filters, the design pressure for the jacket is 1.0 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
- For multi-bag filters, the design pressure is 1.0 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
- For plastic filters, the design pressure is 0.8 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa. The maximum operating temperature is 65°C.
