How to Clean a Bag Filter

If the bag filter continues to filter the same liquid, cleaning is unnecessary. However, if filtering a different type of liquid, the filter must be cleaned before use.

Maintenance and Replacement of O-Rings

  • Maintenance:
When in use, the O-ring should be properly aligned and placed into the O-ring groove to avoid deformation due to improper compression. If not in use, the O-ring must be removed and wiped clean to prevent residual liquid from solidifying on its surface, which could lead to hardening and reduced sealing performance.

  • Replacement:
If the O-ring has aged or been damaged, it should be replaced promptly. Ensure that the replacement O-ring is of the same model as the original.

Important Notes

  1. Under normal use, the filter and support basket come with a one-year warranty. Damage caused by improper use is not covered under warranty.
  2. The design pressure for standard bag filters is 1.6 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
  3. For side-entry bag filters, the design pressure is 1.2 MPa, and the recommended maximum working pressure is 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
  4. For jacketed filters, the design pressure for the jacket is 1.0 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
  5. For multi-bag filters, the design pressure is 1.0 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa, unless specified otherwise.
  6. For plastic filters, the design pressure is 0.8 MPa, with a recommended maximum working pressure of 0.6 MPa. The maximum operating temperature is 65°C.
