How to Clean Filter Bags I
The cleaning of filter bags in a bag filter system is aimed at effectively removing accumulated impurities inside the filter bags and restoring the filter's performance.

The specific cleaning process may vary depending on the bag material, characteristics of the filtered medium, and equipment design. However, the following general steps can be applied:
1. Shut Down and Depressurize
- Close the upstream inlet valve of the bag filter to cut off the liquid supply. If necessary, close the downstream outlet valve to prevent backflow.
- If the equipment is equipped with an exhaust or pressure relief valve, open it to release internal pressure within the filter, ensuring safe operation.
2. Drain and Empty
- Open the drain valve or liquid discharge valve at the bottom of the bag filter to release any remaining liquid inside.
- For liquids containing hazardous substances, ensure that the discharge process complies with relevant environmental regulations to guarantee safe disposal.
- If necessary, lightly tap or gently shake the exterior of the filter housing to help loosen and discharge accumulated liquid inside the tank.
3. Disassemble and Remove Filter Bags
- Loosen or detach the fixing devices securing the filter bags to the support baskets, such as clips, cords, or hooks.
- Carefully remove the filter bags from the support baskets, avoiding damage to the bags or scattering of internal impurities.
