How to Clean Filter Bags II
- Filter Bag Cleaning
-
Physical Cleaning: For washable filter bags, clean water or a mild detergent can be used for rinsing. Gently scrub the inner and outer surfaces of the filter bag with a soft brush or non-metallic scraper to remove adhered impurities. Avoid excessive scrubbing to prevent damage to the filter bag.
-
Chemical Cleaning: For stubborn dirt or special media, a specialized chemical cleaning agent may be required for soaking. Follow the recommended concentration and soaking time as specified in the cleaning agent’s instructions, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Ensure compatibility between the cleaning agent and the filter bag material to prevent corrosion.
-
Warm Water Cleaning: For certain filter bags, using warm water (not exceeding the maximum temperature tolerance of the filter bag material) can improve cleaning effectiveness. Pay attention to temperature control to avoid distortion or degradation of the material due to excessive heat.
- Filter Bag Inspection
After cleaning, carefully inspect the filter bag for any damage, wear, deformation, or enlargement of the pore size. If there is visible damage, the filter bag should be replaced with a new one. If the filter bag still meets filtration requirements, it can be reused.
- Filter Basket Cleaning
Similarly, clean the interior of the filter basket with clean water or an appropriate cleaning agent to ensure there are no residual impurities. Check the surface of the filter basket for rust, wear, or deformation. If any issues are found, timely repair or replacement is required.
