Introduction to Economical Quick Open Bag Filter Housing

The quick-opening filter housing, also known as a stainless steel quick-opening bag filter, is a newly designed and economically efficient improvement on traditional bag filters. It optimizes operational and safety aspects, saving time during opening and closing to prevent leakage issues caused by improper operator handling.

Filtration Process

The material to be filtered enters from the side of the filter, and the inlet inside the filter is presented in a curved pipe shape, guiding the liquid evenly to various filter bags supported by filter screens. Under the pressure of the incoming liquid, the filter bags uniformly expand, allowing the material to undergo maximum filtration on the filter bag's inner surface. The filtered clear liquid is discharged through the outlet. To ensure smooth filtration and maintain filtering accuracy, the pressure gauge should be checked after a certain operating time. The filter should be shut down for venting before opening to replace the filter bag. Generally, it is advisable to replace the filter bag when the pressure difference reaches 0.05 MPa. The replacement period depends on the actual conditions of the filtered material.

Selection Considerations:

  • If the filtration medium has high viscosity, the filtration system's flow rate will decrease, so consider selecting a larger flow filter.
  • For high filtration precision requirements, greater filtration area should be chosen, as the resistance of the filtration medium passing through the filter material increases with the compactness of the material.
  • In the case of numerous impurities and high liquid turbidity, slower filtration speed requires a larger filtration area.
  • If the filtration medium is rigid, surface filtration can be chosen (e.g., single wire mesh, nylon mesh), while if the medium is soft or in a suspended particulate state, deep filtration should be selected (e.g., PP filter bag).
  • If the filtration process cannot be stopped for cleaning, a standby filter should be selected, and control valves and shut-off valves should be added to the pipeline.
