A multi-bag filter is a newly designed, compact, easy-to-operate, energy-efficient, high-performance, sealed, and versatile filtration device. This type of filter is a pressure filtration system where liquid flows into the filter bag through an inlet pipe located on the side of the filter housing. The filter bag itself is installed within a reinforced mesh. The liquid passes through the required micron-rated filter bag, resulting in qualified filtrate, while solid particles are captured by the filter bag.

The filter bag replacement is very convenient, and the filtration process uses virtually no material consumption.

Working Principle:

The structure of the multi-bag filter is simple and easy to install, consisting of the housing, filter bags, and support mesh basket. The liquid flows into the filter bag through the upper inlet flange, entering the inside of the filter bag. Solid particles in the liquid are intercepted by the filter mesh as they pass through the bag.

The support mesh basket is used to support the filter bag, preventing water flow pressure from pressing the bag against the housing wall, which could affect filtration efficiency. The clean liquid exits through the lower outlet flange.

The top of the equipment is equipped with a pressure gauge. When solid impurities accumulate to a certain level, they obstruct the flow of liquid, increasing the pressure inside the filter bag. When the pressure gauge reaches a specified value, it alerts the operator to replace the filter bag.

To replace the filter bag, first open the pressure relief valve, then open the quick-disconnect flange at the top, and replace the filter bag. After replacing the bag, the pressure gauge will return to normal, and the equipment can resume normal operation.
