How Does a Bag Filter Work
Structure
A bag filter primarily consists of three main components:
- Filter Housing: Encloses the filtration process.
- Support Basket: Provides structural support for the filter bag.
- Quick-Opening Mechanism: Ensures convenient access for maintenance and filter replacement.
Working Principle
The bag filter is a pressure-based filtration system. Liquid enters the filter from the top or side inlet pipe and flows into the filter bag, which is housed within the support basket. The liquid passes through the filter bag, achieving the desired filtration grade, while particles and impurities are trapped inside the bag. The filter bag is easy to replace, with minimal material wastage during operation.
