What is a High Precision Bag Filter
A high-precision bag filter is a filtration device specifically designed for the efficient removal of fine particles (typically with filtration accuracy ranging from 1 μm to 50 μm, and in some cases as low as 0.5 μm). It is widely used in applications that demand high purity. Its key feature lies in utilizing high-precision filter bags combined with optimized structural design to achieve deep filtration of fine impurities while maintaining processing efficiency.
Key Features
1. High and Stable Filtration Accuracy
-
The filter bags are made of ultra-fine fiber materials (such as polyester, polypropylene, PTFE, etc.), capable of consistently capturing particles ≥1 μm; with certain specially designed filter bags, filtration accuracy can reach 0.3 μm.
-
Compared with standard bag filters (typically ≥50 μm), high-precision bag filters can meet the stringent purity requirements of industries such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.
2. Structure Optimized for High-Precision Applications
-
The filter housing is usually designed with smooth inner walls to minimize dead zones and turbulence, thus preventing secondary contamination.
-
Excellent sealing performance ensures no bypass of unfiltered materials, guaranteeing reliable filtration results.
3. Balance Between Efficiency and Resistance
-
Since the micropores of high-precision filter bags are finer, the initial resistance may be slightly higher than that of conventional filter bags (typical operating pressure: 0.1–0.3 MPa).
-
To address this, the design increases the filter bag surface area or optimizes liquid inlet flow, thereby lowering flow velocity per unit area, reducing resistance, and improving dirt-holding capacity.
